Hi there.
Since you’re here now after clicking a button that says “About,” you might as well know a little bit about me: I’m a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary, and I live in South Jersey with my wonderful wife and our two daughters. By day, I work at a local hospital on a children’s psychiatric unit; by night, I write here on Substack, where I hope to bring clarity to the many challenging issues facing the people of God in our strange new world.
Over the past year, my work on Substack has been referenced in the pages of publications like American Reformer and USA Today. I’ve also been recognized by Substack all-stars like
(link), (link), and (link).I love Christ, my girls, a good book, Philadelphia sports, and have serious opinions about sandwiches. I write because when I write, I feel His pleasure.

Here, you’ll find articles about faith, culture, family, and the church, usually tied to the writers and thinkers I’ve been reading lately. Subscribing allows you to stay up to date on every new post, and every new article is conveniently sent directly to your inbox.
Substack has an option available for paid content, but for now I’m making all my work here available for free to anyone who’s interested. My hope is that you’ll find unique insights here packaged in an engaging writing style, all done in a spirit that is both charitable and unwavering. I may not always get it right, but I’ll certainly try.
If you’re inspired or encouraged by anything you see here, the kindest thing you could do is to subscribe, share, comment or recommend this page to a friend. It takes just 60 seconds and would mean a lot. ⬇️
So that’s me. Thanks for taking the time to read. Onward and upward, friends.
